Provo Utah Wedding | Abbie + Derek

Bridals

This Provo Utah Wedding was absolutely stunning with the winter background. Abbie and Derek were the dream team couple to work with. They were easy going, gracious and beautiful. Seriously the cutest couple ever. They made it so easy to capture their emotion and happiness. I really don’t think I have ever had more fun at a wedding or ever captured such excellent photos. We did Abbie’s bridals up near the Jordan Pines campground up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was a breathtaking location with breathtaking dress, flowers and people.

Wedding Day

Their wedding day was full of happiness and love. They were married in the Provo City Center Temple and had their reception at the beautiful Wadley Farms castle in Lindon. I love the City Center Temple for a Provo Utah Wedding. It’s such a unique and historic building. As we were taking photos around the temple it looked like it might rain/snow/whatever, but it never did. And the instant I said “Okay, we’re done!” it legit started lightly snowing. It was a little miracle!

At their reception at Wadley Farms they had the BEST donuts from Banbury Cross. If you have never been to Banbury Cross I suggest you take a trip. It is so worth it! They’re located in Salt Lake city and they run it out of a little house turned bakery. There’s only one location and they are seriously the best donuts I have ever had and my most favorite. Get the bear claw and maple bars! The maple bars are to die for. Always worth the calories.

Afterward, they finished the night off with a sparkler send off. I love sparkler send offs. They make for some pretty fun and exciting photos. It feels like a true party being sent-off that way. As always I thank these two awesome people for allowing me to be a part of their day and I hope it’s one they don’t soon forget!
